No. The containers stack on their own corner posts. A lid protects the contents of the lower container and gives a flat surface, which matters when the load in the top container is loose or fragile.
Which lid fits the extra large container?
The 40 by 48 in. lid. The large and extra large containers share the same 40 by 48 in. footprint and differ only in height, so one lid covers both.
Does the lid lock on?
It sits on the rim and stays in place under the weight of the container above or a strap. For sealed transport, add a band or stretch wrap.
