This 48x40 nestable pallet carries 2,200 lb in transit and 5,000 lb sitting still, weighs only 17 lb, and nests inside the pallet below it when empty – so 70 of them take up one pallet position instead of seventy. Injection molded in the USA from 100% recycled plastic. Because it is plastic, it is exempt from ISPM-15: no heat treatment, no fumigation, no stamp, no border delays.

Do plastic pallets need ISPM-15 heat treatment for international shipping?
No. ISPM-15 regulates solid wood packaging material, so plastic pallets are exempt entirely. There is no heat treatment, no methyl bromide fumigation, and no IPPC stamp required. You can ship this pallet to any ISPM-15 country as-is, which removes the single most common cause of customs holds on wood-palletized freight.
What is the difference between dynamic and static capacity?
Dynamic capacity is the load the pallet can carry while it is being moved by a forklift or pallet jack, and it is the number that matters for most shipping. This pallet is rated 2,200 lb dynamic. Static capacity is what it holds sitting still on a flat, solid floor, which is 5,000 lb here. Static is always the higher of the two. Neither number applies to racking, which is a separate rating.
Can this 48x40 plastic pallet be used in pallet racking?
No. This is a nestable export pallet with no rack rating, designed for transit and floor stacking. Putting an unrated pallet across rack beams is unsafe regardless of its static capacity, because an unsupported span loads the pallet completely differently than a solid floor does. For racking, choose a rackable plastic pallet with a published rack capacity, or use wire mesh decking under the load.
How many nestable pallets fit on a truck?
Empty pallets nest 70 to a stack, and a 53-foot trailer holds 2,100. That density is the reason nestable pallets are cheap to ship: a single LTL pallet position carries 70 pallets, so freight works out to only a few dollars per pallet even on smaller orders. Non-nesting pallets stack only 15 to 19 high, which is roughly four times the freight cost per unit.

Every pallet is injection molded in the USA from 100% recycled resin, which means recycled raw material formed into a brand new pallet – not a reconditioned pallet that has already been through a supply chain. You get consistent dimensions, full rated capacity, and no cracks, gouges, or contamination from a previous load.
How long does a plastic pallet last compared to wood?
In closed-loop use a plastic pallet typically runs 10 to 15 years, against roughly 3 to 5 trips for a wood stringer pallet. Plastic will not splinter, will not shed nails into product, does not absorb water or odors, and washes clean. For genuine one-way export where the pallet is not coming back, the deciding factors are usually the ISPM-15 exemption and the low purchase price rather than service life.
