Plastic Pallets

Nestable pallets – for one-way and export shipments. The 48x40 nestable export pallet weighs 17 lb, carries 2,200 lb in transit, and nests 70 to a stack, so a 53′ trailer holds 2,100 of them. The 45x45 nestable does the same job for four-drum loads, the 3-runner nestable adds pallet jack entry for pallets that come back, and the solid deck FlatDeck keeps small parts and loose cartons from falling through.

Rackable pallets – the only ones that belong across rack beams. The 48x40 rackable 6-runner is rated 1,000 lb in a rack unreinforced and up to 3,000 lb with five steel rods. The mid duty 6-runner carries 800 lb across beams at 42 lb, and the compact 37x37, 37x32 and 40x32 half pallet carry 1,000 to 1,200 lb rack ratings on a smaller footprint.

Heavy duty and stackable pallets – for block stacking and heavy floor loads, not racking. The 48x40 heavy duty 5-runner and the dual deck are rated 30,000 lb static, the 48x48 square keeps wide loads inside the footprint, and the 1200x1100 mm pallet covers the metric export standard.

Purpose-built pallets – drum pallets sized for four 55-gallon drums with spill lip options, IBC tote pallets with a molded valve channel, keg pallets, automotive pallets with built-in seatbelt restraints, and a 56x44 beverage and glass pallet.

Three ratings to check before you buy. Dynamic capacity is the load on the forks or in transit. Static capacity is the load sitting still on a flat floor, and is always the highest number. Rack capacity is the load across beams with nothing underneath, and is always the lowest – a pallet with no published rack rating should never go in a rack, whatever its static number says.
